Amazing velvet and floaty graphic print shirt by Comme des Garçons Homme Plus diffusion line. Conceived in collaboration with visual German artist Jonathan Reese for the Fall 2019 collection.

Often described as a multimedia artist, Jonathan Reese's practice works the fine line between provocation and blasphemy, catharsis and exorcism, or personal idolization and political criticism. The designs he created for this collection feature recurrent elements in his drawing work such as, crosses, greek mythology references and fatal figures. These graphic elements are visible through the whole collection, reflecting with the dark and deconstructed identity of the brand. 

Founded in 1984 as a menswear line of Comme des Garçons, Homme Plus provides us with playful designs such as men's skirts, crashed designs jackets based on the fundamentals of menswear. It is the only line in all menswear ones that Rei Kawakubo has been getting involved as a designer. 

This playful style direction is visible by this oversized design and mix of textures. 

Made in Japan, the shirt is composed of 100% polyester with a silky touch on the back, collar and sleeves, and a more velvet appearance on the front. 

The shirt features a left breast pocket and is slightly longer in the back.
