Unique sculptural patchwork skirt from Comme des Garçons 1998 FW collection.

The skirt is testimony to Rei Kawakubo’s legacy of deconstructing garments and putting them back together in unexpected ways. The skirt is made of two different fabrics, a striped brown and red wool fabric and a soft beige cotton.

The skirt is sewn in a patchwork fashion, with a padded circle shape in the front, and a organic round shaped extension of the striped fabric, creating a draped effect.

the skirt closes on the side with a row of hooks.

size label reads S (fits more like an XS)
