1980's fucshia blazer by Thierry Mugler.

If there's one piece in our collection that screams 'Girls Just Want To Have Fun' as if it were 1983, this would be it for sure! The tight fitted waist and bold shoulders are everything the 80's were about: knowing how to make an entrance and being the life of the party.

Size: S/ EU 36.

Perfect vintage condition.

Thierry Mugler came to his career in fashion design via dance and photography. He began designing clothes at 24 for a Parisian boutique, Gudule. After that he started doing freelance work for a variety of large ready-to-wear houses. His first collection debuted in 1973. Mugler became an internationally recognized designer during the 1980s and the 1990s. In George Michael’s music video of his single Too Funky, directed by Mugler, you see the brands identity. His over-the-top fashion shows, that embodied worlds of fantasy and theatrical elements, are perhaps Mugler’s greatest fashion legacy next to his fetishistics fashion. He retired in 2003.
