A beautiful twist on the classic blazer.
Single breasted with a single snap button in the middle, this light blazer finds its particularity in the fact that its sleeves can be opened or closed at the level of the armpits, allowing for different transformations to occur.
One can wear the jacket very simple and straightforward, with it's armpits' buttons closed or open, or one can wear the sleeves on the inside of the jacket, with the jacket rested on the shoulders, creating a cape-like effect in the back. Perfect for the cocktail hour or a vernissage.
The blazer can also be worn as a gilet, leaving the sleeves dangling on the side of the jacket, or tied around the neck. (see pictures)
With its raglan sleeves (a sleeve that extends in one piece fully to the collar, leaving a diagonal seam from underarm to collarbone), the piece can be worn by different sizes, as the shoulders are not marked.
Size fits 36-40 FR, length 77cm
Composition: wool & cotton blend
This piece is a prototype from Jean-Paul Lespagnard's personal archive.
